Pelican Pointe’s history

Pelican Pointe is a small resort village on the eastern shore of Last Mountain Lake, in the Rural Municipality of McKillop No. 220. It sits on Pelican Point, across the lake from Little Arm Bay and the Last Mountain Lake Indian reserve, and is reached from Highway 322.

The community incorporated as a resort village on January 1, 1987. Today it is run by an elected municipal council and an appointed clerk, with Steve Mazurak serving as mayor.
